Welcome to Delta Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter’s Website!
We are a diverse group of graduate professional women who are committed to the high ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. We strive to exemplify our principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood through community service programs throughout West Collin County.
The Delta Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter was chartered by eleven professional leaders who saw the need for a greater impact in our community. Service is what we do, and it is our chapter’s vision to enhance the lives of women, children, and minorities through these strategic initiatives:
1. Providing support to under-served and disadvantaged women;
2. Closing the achievement gap for minority children in K-12;
3. Bringing awareness to the issues that adversely impact the lives of minorities in Frisco, Fairview, Plano, Prosper, and Allen.
Delta Alpha Alpha Zeta currently serves our community through monthly Senior and Rehabilitation Center donations, hands-on service for Allen Cares Center and Hope’s Door, and play-and-learn donations for Plano ISD Head Start. Annually, we host personal improvement webinars in March during our Finer Womanhood month and Social Action webinars during community election season. During the holidays, we partner with our brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. to collect toys for local children in need. Additionally, by service or donations, we support our Sorority’s national initiatives including Domestic Violence, Elder Care, Finer Women Don’t Haze, International Women of Color, March of Dimes, Social Action, and Z-HOPETM.
Enjoy our website and come back often to stay abreast of our latest activities.
Serving you, so you can freely serve others,
Tomeka Woody
